Strem's corporate headquarters is located in Newburyport 38 miles (60km) north of Boston, Massachusetts, USA. This facility covers 48,000 sq. ft (4,460 m2). Its cGMP facility is FDA inspected. The European headquarters and warehouse are located in Bischheim, France.
Strem Chemicals has many long–term employees and instituted an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program) in 2006. It was named the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce 2008 Business of the Year.
